What is CIFFCO?

CIFFCO, Centre International de Formation Ferroviaire de la Côté d’Opale, a subsidiary of the GETLINK group, was the first private training organisation approved by EPSF to provide train driver training as well as training in essential safety tasks. It trains new recruits for any rail company working on the national rail network or private network.
CIFFCO is also approved by EPSF as an “organisation responsible for examinations on the general professional knowledge of train driving”.

We therefore have the experience and approvals necessary to provide train driver training on the national rail network, whether for freight or passenger service.

Our training offer extends beyond the rail sector to also include the industrial field : safety, prevention and electrical accreditations.

CIFFCO, Qualiopi certified training organisation

In September 2021, le CIFFCO obtained the Qualiopi certification for providing
training actions and Validation of Acquired Experience. A recognition of the
quality provided by our teams on a daily basis to better meet your needs.

A 140-seat auditorium

An auditorium with a capacity of 140 seats, allowing in particular to take exams such as the European driver’s license.

Several rooms dedicated to training

CIFFCO has several training rooms equipped with Surface Hubs, as well as a computer room and a room dedicated to learning foreign languages.

A training room located in the middle of a set of rail tracks

A training room located in the middle of a set of rail tracks on the site of Fréthun, allows trainees to immerse themselves in the railway environment and combine theory and practical training.

A room dedicated to the cabin simulator

The multifunction cabin simulator is located in a dedicated room with an instructor station and a display screen for the trainees.

Our simulators

In 2021, CIFFCO invested in new Alstom mobile simulators and refurbished its cabin simulator.
